NO NEW TAXES!
HB 2877 was gutted in the Senate after it passed over from the House. This nasty bill supported by Democrat legislators will increase the general excise tax by at least 25%! If it is passed, Honolulu residents will be paying up to 5.5% GET on all products and services.
Various liberal and social activist groups are supporting the tax increase while Tea Party conservatives are strongly opposed to this and all other tax increases.
Hawaii taxpayers cannot afford any new taxes since the economy is still in the toilet.

Anyone who is against tax increases must attend the April 15 Tea Party rallies that are being held throughout the islands. The Honolulu Tea Party takes place at the State Capitol on April 15 from 4 to 7 pm. More information at OvertaxedHawaii.com.
